The Europe OER Regional Consultation was held on 23-24 February, 2017 at the Grand Hotel Excelsior in Valletta, Malta.
Ministers, senior officials, experts and activists from 23 countries in Europe, Republic of Korea, and the USA and four Inter-Governmental organizations participated in the RCOER for Europe. It was co-hosted by the Ministry of Education and Employment, Malta. There were a total of 72 participants. Five working groups met on both days of the Consultation and formulated recommendations for specific actions by clearly-identified stakeholders in the region. A report containing a summary of presentations and the recommendations for action for consideration in the 2nd World OER Congress will be made available in April 2017. The agenda attached was adhered to largely, with only a minor change.
